INVITATION TO BID

FURNITURE, FURNISHINGS AND EQUIPMENT

FOR THE

ARCHER COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER

ARCHER CITY, TEXAS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Furniture, Furnishings, and Equipment for the Archer County Law Enforcement Center, Archer City, Texas, will be received at the office the Archer County Judge until 9:30 A.M. February 8, 2010. For regular mail, please use:   PO Box 458, Archer City, Texas  76351.  For HAND or OVERNIGHT DELIVERY ONLY, please use:  Archer County Courthouse, 100 S. Center Street, Archer City, Texas 76351, 940/574-4811, it is the responsibility of each bidder to ensure timely delivery of their proposal.  The Archer County Judge will open and present the bids to the Archer County Commissioners Court on February 8, 2010 at 10:15 A.M. in the Archer County courtroom located at 100 S. Center Street, Archer City, Texas 76351. 

The work to be executed as herein described and shown on the drawings entitled Furniture, Furnishings and Equipment for Archer County Law Enforcement Center Texas, consists of furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment for Mobile File Systems, Detention Bed Linens and Mattresses, Appliances, Site Amenities, Fume Hoods, Audio/ visual Systems, Systems Furniture, and Computer Equipment, necessary or reasonably incidental, to complete the construction of the aforementioned project on a site shown and described on the drawings.  This bid opening is for furniture, fixtures and equipment only.

Interested bidders may obtain Drawings, Specifications and Bidding Documents at the office of the Architect, Southwest Architects, Inc., 4200 South Hulen, Suite 534, Fort Worth, Texas 76109 or the Archer County Judge’s office at 100 S. Center Street, Archer City, Texas 76351.

No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of thirty (30) days following the opening of bids.  The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids or portions thereof and to waive all formalities therewith.

Beesinger, Archer County Judge, do hereby certify that this Public Notice of the  Commissioner’s Court is a true and correct copy of said Notice and that I posted said Notice at a place readily accessible to the general public at all times which are the doors of the Archer County Courthouse, 100 S. Center, and the doors of the Archer County Annex, 112 E. Walnut, Archer City, Texas on the 12 ^th day of January, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.
