NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING AND AGENDA
COMMISSIONER’S COURT OF ARCHER COUNTY, TEXAS
The Commissioner’s Court of Archer County, Texas will meet in Regular session on Monday,
May 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Archer County Annex Courtroom, 112 E. Walnut, Archer City,
Texas to discuss and consider for possible action the Agenda items listed below. If lunch is
observed in which a quorum of the Court will be present, the Court will recess from business to an
announced location from approximately 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., at which time the Court may
reconvene back in open session if agenda items are still pending.
A. CALL TO ORDER
Greeting and completion of registration of Attendees
Determination of Quorum
Pledge of Allegiance to the United States and Texas
Flags
B. FINAL APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The Court will consider any
requests to remove items from the Consent Agenda to the Action Agenda or, to delete any item
from the Miscellaneous Reports/Presentations,
Consent or Action Agendas.
C. PUBLIC COMMENTS, MISCELLANEOUS REPORTS, DISCUSSIONS OR
PRESENTATIONS

1. PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Anyone wishing to address the Court during Public Comments is required to register your name on
the Clerk’s registry prior to the meeting, and indicate which item or subject you wish to
address. Speakers are limited to five (5) minutes maximum, and if there are more than three
speakers who wish to address the same item, the Court reserves the right to limit speakers.
The Court cannot discuss, respond or act on matters not listed on the Agenda.

D. CONSENT AGENDA: All items listed are considered to be routine business by
the Court and will be enacted with
one motion. Inquiries for clarification,
additional information or explanation are allowed, but there will be no individual
deliberative action or discussion allowed or
considered on an item unless a member of the Commissioner’s Court
requests such consideration, at which time, the item
will be removed from the Consent Agenda to the Action Agenda.

As authorized by the Texas Government Code, the Commissioners’ Court of Archer County,
Texas reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of this
meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above as they may relate to Texas Government Code
Section 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney); Texas Government Code Section 551.072 (Deliberations
About Real Property); Texas Government Code Section 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and
Donations); Texas Government Code Section 551.074 (Personnel Matters), Texas Government Code
Section 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices); and Texas Government Code Section 551.087
(Economic Development)
In the event that the Court adjourns into Executive Session, unless otherwise specified on the
agenda, the Court will announce any other parties who are authorized to be present during the
deliberations in Executive Session.

I, Gary W. Beesinger, Archer County Judge, do hereby certify that the above Notice of an Open
Meeting and the Agenda of the Commissioner’s Court is a true and correct copy of said Notice and
Agenda, and that I posted said Notice and Agenda at a place readily accessible to the general
public at all times which are the doors of the Archer County Courthouse, 100 S. Center, and the
doors of the Archer County Annex, 112 E. Walnut, Archer City, Texas on the 21
st day of May 2010 at 10:00 a.m. which is at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled time
